On April 30th, a class was held in the Climate Justice discipline with Professor Giuliana Franco Leal from the Institute of Biodiversity and Sustainability (Nupem/UFRJ). In this discipline, there was a discussion about territorialized movements of struggle for land that are counter-colonial, decolonial and anti-imperialist, such as the March of the Daisies, the Web of the Peoples, the Zapatistas, the MST (agrarian reform), and the agroecological movement.

On April 22, another agroforestry management was carried out to open up light in the system and produce organic matter coverage for the soil.

On April 19th, a group meeting was held on self-management and collective writing for the submission of ÁrvoreSer at the Regional Meeting on Biology Teaching – RJ/ES: Teaching Science and Biology on the frontiers of democratizing access to science: possibilities and challenges in different educational spaces (EREBIO).

On April 16th, a field collection was carried out together with other researchers from UERJ who came to SAF ÁrvoreSer to collect pollinators for a scientific study in the State of Rio de Janeiro, mainly the lowland area, in different agricultural fields (organic, agroecological and agroforestry)

On May 7, 8 and 9, receptions were held for classes from public high schools and elementary schools and one private school, namely: Colégio Municipal do Sana (from the mountainous region of the city); Instituto Federal Fluminense (class from technical high school in the environment); Atlântico (private school). These classes were presented with ideas and differences between monoculture models with agroecology and agroforestry systems, highlighting historical issues such as the cultural and ancestral knowledge of indigenous and traditional peoples. As well as the climate emergency situation and loss of biodiversity in their relationships with conventional production.
